The most important distinction is that Secure STM and Secure Saver STM are major medical type insurance policies. Secure Lite is a limited benefit policy (also known as a "mini-med") with a stated maximum benefit.

for up to 36 months is no longer available. Maximum
coverage under one short term medical insurance
policy is now 12 months although it is possible to
cover longer periods of time by enrolling with a
