Fees for design and administrative consulting services are quoted on a comprehensive annual basis, typically at $150 per employee per year. Allowances are made for customization of services.

Prototype plan documents are available without charge.

Expanding the scope or number of options included in the benefit plan does not necessarily raise the administrative cost because some options are available without additional administrative charge because we may be paid by the third party service providers with your written authorization.

Factors that affect pricing of our employee benefit services include:
  • business structure and employee demographics
  • employee e-mail system access and details
  • existing benefit plans
  • budget for benefits
  • ability to assign agent of record
  • size of the business, industry and location

Other services - Individual benefit plan or consulting services may be available based on the estimated time requirement for the service -just ask for a quote.

Qualifying small businesses  

Beginning December 2016, some small businesses qualify for free advice, plan design, documentation, and help with employee benefit plan setup and enrollment. The qualifying criteria will evolve depending on the supply and demand of this service. Please contact Tony Novak with any questions.

Qualifying criteria

To qualify for free Freedom Benefit services, businesses must be qualified under any one of these four categories. Nothing in this limited offer to waive fees for small business employee benefit plan setup is intended to imply a waiver of any fee after setup or the fees charged by any other company.

1. a member in good standing of a business association with a marketing agreement with Freedom Benefits


2. referred by a Freedom Benefits business partner who provides some insurance or other related service (Businesses who are not referred might be introduced to a partner.),


3. registered as a nonprofit entity,


4. Use QuickBooks online accounting platform, have Tony Novak connected as accountant user and agree to allow employees to use the platform for online employee benefits plan communications. (Businesses that do not have QuickBooks Online account can add it for a discounted rate $25 per month. This is a limited offer.),


enter into a written service engagement agreement with Tony Novak CPA that confirms the specific service, limitations and waiver of fee.
